Meadows Pool

Meadows Family Aquatic Center is the newest gem in Mt. Prospect Park District's aquatic crown. Opened in 2003, this zero-depth, flatwater pool owes much of its design and concept to the thoughtful direction of the Resident Aquatic Advisory Committee. With input from neighboring residents and other citizens, this group developed a back-to-basics plan that serves a wide range of the community's aquatic needs. Yet this family-friendly neighborhood pool maintains a hometown feeling.
Springboard into the cool blue waters; plunge from the 8-foot drop slide; swim a few laps, watch the little ones enjoy the interactive water features, or just chill out in the shallow waters of the zero depth area.
Pull up a beach chair on our lush, green lawn to soak up some rays or enjoy the cool shade under one of our funbrellas. Pack a lunch and dine in our picnic section, or enjoy a treat from our vending machines.
Whatever you choose, it's sure to be a great day at Meadows Aquatic Center.

Top Lifeguards Receive Top Training
We're proud of our pros!
In addition to our general Red Cross Lifeguard Certification requirement, members of our Big Surf, Meadows and RecPlex Pools Staff receive even more rigorous water training and testing conducted by Metro Risk Management Agency. MRMA conducts an intensive program at our sites with follow-up surprise audits to check on staff performances throughout the season. And they've given our staff a thumbs-up all the way!
All of the Parks & Facilities controlled by MPPD are governed by Ordinance 525.
