Mt. Prospect Park District Provides many options for our young future athletes from 22 months to 14 year olds. All classes will be very fun in nature and will give these young athletes the proper foundation to prepare them for league play or take them to the next level with ease. Included below is a sampling of the types of classes/sports offered.

We Got Game

We Got Game, LLC is committed to improving the social, physical and athletic development of children. Participants in WGG programs learn the joy of sports while staying fit. Through fun, structured programs, WGG strives to help players develop a life-long love of sports! From Parent & Tot classes through grade school programs, WGG partners with the Mt. Prospect Park District to instill teamwork and athletic appreciation in the youngest of players. These quality classes and camps build a foundation for young athletes looking to take the next step into league play.

Hot Shots Sports

Hot Shots Sports aims to develop young athletes who will grow emotionally, physically, and intellectually in our sports programs.  By redirecting the focus away from wins and losses and toward personal growth, we create an environment where winning is the byproduct of and not the means to success.  This approach creates critical thinkers who understand the importance of giving their best in practice, games, and other life endeavors. Our Coaches take pride in fostering that drive, and motivating your child to find the champion inside of themselves.

Green White Soccer Club

Green White Soccer Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing fun and competitive soccer programs for all ages (from kindergarten to over-40).

Green White was founded in Chicago in 1956 by a dedicated group of German-American immigrants. The following year the first Green White youth team took the field, and in 1971 a girls and women’s program was added. Since 1982 Green White has been located in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, and has been a proud partner with the Mount Prospect Park District ever since.

In our nearly 60 years of soccer, Green White teams have won state championships, Green White players have gone on the play professional soccer, and a few are even enshrined in the Illinois Soccer Hall of Fame. We’ve seen soccer grow from a sport that was completely unknown to this country’s most popular youth sport, and we’re extremely proud to have been a part of that transformation.

Green White remains committed to the sport today. Our current girls travel teams compete in the IWSL and boys travel teams compete in the YSSL, as well as many local competitive tournaments.

Our current men’s teams are living up to the long and proud tradition of Green White by playing in the top divisions of their leagues. (Click on the Adult Tab to see more about our first team, our over-30 team, and our over-40 team)

Come join the Green White family and be a part of a proud soccer tradition!
