Start your Butterfly Garden (Ages 16-Adult)

Make your yard a hotspot for butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees! Planting a butterfly garden in Fall is a fantastic method for garnering success the following growing season. Kaitlyn and Natalie from the Park District’s own Greenhouse will talk about keystone species and choosing ideal perennials, as well as adding supplemental herbs and annuals that benefit our native pollinators. Participants will take home a selection of perennials to get them started.
