Class Descriptions

Group Fitness - Live Instructor

4G: Guts, Guns, Glutes & Glory
Target specific areas using various weight bearing exercises for the upper and lower body. This is a great class to help increase bone density.

Balance & Stretch
Get ready to enjoy our standing balance class designed to improve balance, core, muscular strength, and flexibility. Light weights and other equipment may be used.

Boot Camp
A circuit training style workout providing a mixture of strength and cardiovascular exercises appropriate for all fitness levels. Bodyweight and equipment will be used to create a fun, engaging full body workout.

Circuit Crazy This class consists of periods of intense exertion alternating with periods of rest or light exertion. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with cardio bursts designed to tone your body and improve your endurance.

Core and More This is an all body workout with 20/30/40 intervals of intensity with 10 minutes of rest per interval. Core will be the most challenging part of this workout and the overall goal will be muscle endurance with higher repetitions and lower or moderate resistance throughout.

DanceFit is a dance inspired fitness program that incorporates dance moves and muscle conditioning to create a fun & very effective fitness routine. We believe in maintaining a positive, balanced approach to exercise that promotes a happy, healthy life-style. DanceFit requires no dance experience and can be enjoyable and beneficial for all.

Gentle Yoga: A slow and gentle yoga practice suitable for all levels. This practice incorporates a mindful, slow sequence and restorative postures. Meditation and breathing techniques are utilized to create a relaxing and peaceful experience.

Intermediate Yoga: This yoga class is more physically challenging than beginner yoga and assumes the practitioner knows fundamental poses, inversions, and modifications.   The sequences incorporate conscious breath-work, vinyasa flows, sun salutations, as well as balance and inversion poses to stretch and strengthen the body.

LIIT : LIIT (low intensity interval training) consists of low-impact exercises performed in intervals followed by a slower-paced recovery period. LIIT can help increase your aerobic ability, break down carbohydrates and fat and deliver oxygen better to your muscles.

Mat Pilates
Strengthen your core while gaining long and lean muscles throughout your body. Improve your balance, flexibility, and stability. For beginners to intermediate to experienced participants. Mini balls, resistance bands, and other equipment may be used.

Metabolic Interval+
A series of strength and cardio intervals designed to increase your metabolism, strength, endurance and reduce stress, along with targeting each muscle group. Class includes 5-7 minutes warm-up and a complete cool-down stretch for a total balanced body workout. All levels welcome!

Power Barre
A low impact, high intensity workout, blending ballet principles and athletic movement to choreographed music. This class focuses on muscular endurance, body toning, sculpting, mobility and joint flexibility.

Power Hour
Join us for a class that focuses on strength, intensity and power broken up in thirds – 1/3 core, 1/3 strength training and 1/3 high intensity cardio. This class focuses on stamina and strength and is designed to keep you working hard and giving your best!

Silver Workout (Ages 55+)
Enjoy a sit and fit workout with yoga and Pilates postures and stretches. Light weights may be used, as well as some optional standing exercises and balance work. However, participants may stay seated for the entire workout. This class is structured for patrons who are 55+ years of age.

Spin
Spin classes are a great way to get a vigorous workout without the impact of running or jumping. You’ll burn calories and keep your muscles in shape while building your cardiovascular endurance and strength.

Tabata
Increase your cardiac capacity while toning your body from head to toe! Each 4 minute interval includes 8 rounds of 20 second high intensity work followed by 10 seconds of rest. Incorporate core toning with a cool down and relaxation segment at the end.

WERQ
WERQ is the wildly addictive cardio dance workout based on trending pop and hip hop music. Our mission is to create a judgement-free dance space built on good vibes, a great sweat, and a supportive community.

Yoga (All Levels)
A Hatha style yoga flow focuses on connecting breath to movement that integrates strength building as well as meditative and restorative elements. Options and modifications will be given to encourage a safe practice for all levels.
Zumba
A fusion of Latin and International dance themes, combining high energy dance moves and slower cardio intervals for a maximum calorie output. Strong uses high intensity intervals and bodyweight training to keep the calories burning.

Barre
Barre is a hybrid workout class combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training.

Cardio
Cardio classes include a variety of movements and exercises that increase blood circulation throughout the body and increase your heart rate.

Cardio Kickboxing
Cardio Kickboxing combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.

Core
These classes are designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture. Exercises will strengthen the abdomen and back muscles while increasing flexibility.

HIIT
HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. This class involves bursts of high-intensity cardio and strength exercises interspersed with brief periods of recovery. It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance.

Pilates
Pilates focuses on improving core strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance in the body along with strength and flexibility in the back and spine.

Strength
Strength is a full-body workout designed to help improve muscular strength.

Yoga
Yoga incorporates yoga postures, gentle movement sequences, breath work, supported silent meditation, and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and body, and quieting of the nervous system.

Performance Training with ARC Performance

Performance Training with ARC Performance (Ages 7-18)
The Speed & Agility class with ARC Performance will include 60 minutes of progressive speed and agility work for the beginner athlete to the advanced who wants to take it to the next level. All kinds of tools and tactics will be used to assess and progress each athlete through the 6-week program.
